The Gift of Volunteering
Jewish Home Life Communities depends on its host generous, friendly, and positive volunteers. Volunteers participate in a variety of meaningful activities that help make our residents and patients feel happy and at ease. We also have a very active Auxiliary, whose 1,100 members give their time to making our residents feel cared for and loved with special events and regular activities they look forward to such as weekly manicures, magical evenings, senior Olympics and holiday celebrations.
What Can You Do?
Whatever your interests, skills or talents, we offer a myriad of rewarding volunteer opportunities, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Baby playgroups
- Bingo, bowling and game days
- Challah baking
- Friendly visits
- Holiday/Shabbat/Birthday celebrations
- Music or other performances
- Become involved in our Auxiliary
