What is palliative care and why have I never heard of it?

Hospice care is something that has achieved a more mainstream presence in the US in the past 10 years. Hospice provides holistic care, addressing patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs at the end of a terminal illness, once medical treatment has ended. But now another kind of patient care, Palliative care, is gaining more visibility. Palliative care provides holistic patient care during medical treatment.  Join Weinstein Hospice experts as we explore Hospice and Palliative care options and how to choose what is right for your family’s situation.
