Christina Olson, AGPCNP-BC
Christina Olson, an ANCC Board Certified Adult- Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), has a passion for working with older adults. She believes that dignified and comfortable transitions of care are a right, not a privilege., and enjoys helping patients establish realistic goals and maximize quality of life. Christina has extensive experience working in General Internal Medicine as well as expertise in Hematology, Oncology and Pulmonary subspecialties. She has provided care for patients across the spectrum of health and illness; in-home care, outpatient and acute care settings.
Christina has a Master of Science in Nursing from Concordia University and during her studies obtained a minor in Psychology. She also served as a Nurse Educator for patients and staff at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Christina looks forward to serving older adults in The Clinic at The Zaban Tower, The William Breman Jewish Home and Aviv Rehabilitation Center. She will work under the supervision of Dr. Darradji and Dr. Alex Rikhter, the Medical Director of Jewish HomeLife.
Kara Gold, ANP
Kara Gold, an ANCC Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), has a long history of working with Jewish HomeLife. Over the past 10+ years, she has cared for the residents at The William Breman Jewish Home, first as part of United Health Care, and then directly for JHLC Medical Director Dr. Alex Rikhter. She also previously worked for Weinstein Hospice, as well as other primary care practices providing care in Skilled Nursing Homes.
Kara has spent most of her professional career caring for the Geriatric population. Her expertise with long term care, acute and chronic conditions, psychiatric management, and facilitating smooth transitions in care will be an invaluable asset to our residents and families.
Kara has a Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University. While in graduate school, she also obtained a minor in teaching, business and wound care certification. She will work under the supervision of Dr. Alex Rikhter, the Medical Director of Jewish HomeLife.
