Gramagram

Jewish HomeLife has a new opportunity for schools, synagogues, and all of our phenomenal volunteers! Isolation has been one of the more significant challenges our residents are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, residents are unable to visit face-to-face with family, friends, and volunteers. Team members continue working extraordinarily hard to ensure increased safety measures are maintained. Our goal is for the community to send #gramagram notes to the 1,000 residents and team members who currently live and work in Jewish HomeLife’s skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities.

Sending a card takes just five minutes. The benefits of brightening the day of an older adult who has been isolated, and encouraging a caregiver who has been working tirelessly are exponential. A funny joke, sweet poems, and silly drawings are also welcomed! Jewish HomeLife will display these cards in fun ways around their communities, and they are certain to bring a bright spot for both residents and staff.

The Goal: We are aiming to collect 1,000 #gramagrams. We will begin distributing letters to residents and team members as soon as they arrive.
