Frequently Asked Questions

Are your caregivers employees?

Yes, they are PRNs who all undergo an interview process, background check, orientation, and drug screening. All of our PRNs have been through hands on, client centered CNA training. As part of Jewish HomeLife, Eckstein Home Care continues staff training ongoing. Our large team has a great deal of experience under their belts.

Is there an hour minimum?

Yes, five hours. We feel that is what is fair to our caregivers to ask them to travel to your home. Five hours also allows caregivers the time focus on and not rush through an individual’s needs. We are available for ongoing shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How much notice do I need to give Eckstein Home Care?

We can cover someone within the same day, but we would prefer as much time as possible to better match the individual with one of our caregivers.

Am I locked into a contract?

No contract to sign; we offer a service agreement to outline the service we provide and a client may continue or discontinue hours as needed. We are there to assist whenever we are needed.

What is your service area?

We serve all throughout metro Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs.
