Assisted Living that Gives Families the Freedom to Thrive
Open to all, our highly trained staff helps families be families again. We enable older adults to age in place in a social, home-like setting learning new skills, making new friends, and giving families peace of mind.
Making New Friends and Sharing New Experiences
Being able to socialize with peers and make friends is one of the most important benefits of living in an assisted living community, and we are committed to showing each resident that they belong. Whether your loved one enjoys quiet time or a bustle of activity, we provide plenty of opportunities for both every day.
ASSISTED LIVING
Relationships, understanding and hospitality are the foundation of our licensed assisted living. Our highly trained and friendly staff takes the time to get to know each resident and their families. Together, we develop a personalized care plan that meets residents’ needs, preferences and schedules, and supports residents in maintaining their independence as much
as possible.
PATHWAYS
Pathways meets people where they are. It's a great stepping stone for senior living residents who have some level of memory loss, but aren't ready for a secure memory environment. Pathways enables residents who have begun to isolate themselves from their neighbors out of frustration or fear to engage in the programs they love in a way that works
best for them.
MEMORY CARE
We believe in building experiences instead of assigning activities. Our I’m Still Here® approach offers a choice of meaningful experiences to each resident throughout the day. Social roles and membership in a wide variety of clubs and classes ensure that residents are part of a social context each day. Our goal is to create opportunities for residents to explore their passions and interests , thereby increasing their independence, self-confidence and
overall well-being.
"What a relief to have found the Cohen Home for my mom. She is now safe and secure in a very enriching environment. The staff is super attentive and encourages to get up, dressed and participate in mind-stimulating activities like trivia, games, music, and more. It’s making all the difference. I can’t say enough good about this place - the food, service, amenities and medical care are beyond anything we hoped for. My family and I highly recommend the Cohen Home which, comparatively speaking is an excellent value."
T. Gavulic
"My mother has lived at The Cohen Home for 6 years and it is truly amazing. She loves the activities and going out to to lunch. The caregivers have all been there for a long time- like 10 and 15 years and they are so good to her. The Jewish holidays are specially fun and special to our family.
So grateful for this place!"
